Dell Technologies is proud to introduce a new webinar series that shows how Dell products and solutions can help customers achieve their energy efficiency and sustainability goals. The webinar, called Sustainable IT: Technology That Makes A Difference!, shows how sustainability is driving demand and how you can respond.
Starting now, you can co-brand the series and incorporate it into your demand-generation marketing campaigns. This is the perfect time to get started. By helping your customers meet their environmental, social and governance (ESG) requirements, you’re also taking part in the battle against climate crisis—and growing your own business, too.
Sustainability is driving IT purchasing
In a study published by TechTarget’s Enterprise Strategy Group, 93% of respondents said their IT supplier’s ESG program would impact their IT purchase decisions. And 97% confirmed ESG programs are part of their organization’s strategy.
The study presents a clear message from customers whose energy efficiency and sustainability demands are transforming IT strategy—especially when it comes to data center architecture. That stands to reason. After all, data centers represent a huge concentration of power usage, heat output and CAPEX, which makes them an ideal target for increased energy efficiency efforts.
Respondents to the Enterprise Strategy Group survey also said embracing energy efficiency and sustainability helped them improve brand development, increase profitability, and lower operational costs and capital expenditures.
How did they accomplish their goals? Many established an internal ESG program to create and carry out plans to increase energy efficiency and sustainability. Those efforts included accelerating the replacement timeframe for existing IT equipment and eliminating a potential supplier or product due to ESG concerns.
